　中国が威信をかけて進める高速鉄道網整備を巡り、中国鉄道省の元幹部が中国紙に対し、「世界一にこだわり、設計上の安全速度を無視しただけで、中国独自の技術によるものではない」との見方を示した。

　証言したのは同省科学技術局長などを務めた周翊民氏。２１日付の「２１世紀経済報道」が伝えた。

　中国は日本とドイツから導入した技術を元に独自技術で時速３８０キロの営業速度を実現したとしていたが、実際には安全上の考慮を無視し、日独が試験走行で達成していた速度に近い速度での営業を命じただけだったと証言。「自分の技術でないので問題が起きても解決できない。結果の甚大さは想像もできない」と指摘した。
